Central Waters Brewing Co. is saying “Mas Tequila!” with an upcoming creation.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the beer in question is Tequila Barrel-Aged Key Lime, a gose-style ale aged in tequila barrels with limes and sea salt before being packaged in 12-ounce cans. The new releases uses Central Waters Key Lime Gose as its base.
The ale will join the Amherst, Wis.-based brewery’s Brewer’s Reserve Series, which is made up of different styles of beers that have been aged in various types of barrels.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
