This month, Central Waters Brewing Co. will be releasing a brand new creation across its entire distribution footprint.

That beer is Salted Maple Stout, a “beast of a stout” brewed with maple syrup and “a touch of salt.” In an email, Simon Nielsen, head brewer at the Amherst, Wis.-based brewery, told Tenemu that the creation uses a new stout base than the brewery’s seasonal Maple Barrel Stout, a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels.

According to Nielsen, Salted Maple Stout will be packaged in 12-ounce cans and is scheduled to ship to retailers across Central Waters’ distribution network “near the end of this month.”
