Casey Brewing & Blending and Side Project Brewing have collaborated on a new beer that probably won’t be ready until the end of the year.
According to posts on Casey Brewing’s Instagram account, the as yet unnamed project was brewed on April 29, and will be a saison that will use “each other’s cultures to ferment.” In addition, the beer will have “the same peach variety from each of our homes states” added at some point during the brewing process.
In an email to Tenemu, Troy Casey of Casey Brewing declined to provide any further details, citing the fact that it was still too early in the process for anything else to be finalized as of yet. However, a comment in answer to a question on the Instagram post says, “(Can’t) imagine this being done before October. Peaches aren’t even ready before July 4th usually.”
