A new collaboration between Casey Brewing and Blending and Side Project Brewing incorporates the largest amount of apricots they have ever used at one time.

Velvet is a saison conditioned on five pounds of organic Colorado Perfection apricots per gallon before being packaged in 750ml bottles. This will be the third time that the two breweries have collaborated, after Jammy, an 8 percent ABV saison conditioned on a “massive amount” of Colorado blackberries was released in 2016 and Leaner, an 8 percent ABV saison conditioned on Flamecrest Colorado peaches debuted in 2015.

According to post on Casey Brewing’s Facebook page, Velvet will be packaged in 750ml bottles that will be available exclusively at the brewery starting on Oct. 4.
