Casey Brewing and Blending has chosen this week to release its first sour ale combining vanilla beans and fruit in bottles.
Funky Blender Preserves – Apricot + Vanilla is a farmhouse ale brewed with four pounds of fresh, organic apricots per gallon before being conditioned on whole Madagascar vanilla beans. The ale was released as a draft-only option in January.
As with all of Casey’s beer releases, interested parties must purchase a ticket for a tour at the brewery in order to purchase bottles.
According to a post on Casey’s Facebook page, 750ml bottles of Funky Blender Preserves – Apricot + Vanilla will be available for sale available during tours from April 5 through April 7.
