Since it opened its doors in 2015 fans of Casey Brewing and Blending have had to visit its physical location in order to try and purchase the majority of the beers that the brewery released, but this summer that will no longer be the case.

That is because Casey Brewing has announced it will be opening a brand new taproom that will be located in the downtown area of Glenwood Springs, Colo. According to a post on the brewery’s Instagram page, the purpose of the new location will be to show off some of the sour blends, IPAs, stouts and collaboration beers that are being produced, as well as “a healthy amount of guest taps from our friends throughout the state!”

We're excited to finally announce that we're opening a second tasting room in the heart of downtown Glenwood Springs! This tasting room will allow us to showcase a few of our sour blends, all of our IPAs, stouts and collab beers as well as feature a healthy amount of guest taps from our friends throughout the state! We'll be open like a normal tasting room at this location and will continue to do beer releases and the tours and tastings at our Barrel Cellar like we've been doing for almost five years now. Diana, Emily’s sister and an OG Casey volunteer, is going to run it so we’re keeping it in the family! Historically, the vast majority of the beers that Casey Brewing has released in bottles have only been available for purchase by people who attend tours at the brewery itself, which has limited hours and is located outside of Glenwood Springs.

“We’ll be open like a normal tasting room at this location and will continue to do beer releases and the tours and tastings at our Barrel Cellar like we’ve been doing for almost five years now,” reads a post on Casey Brewing’s Instagram page. “Diana, Emily’s sister and an OG Casey volunteer, is going to run it so we’re keeping it in the family!”

According to the brewery, the new taproom is scheduled to open around mid-summer “pending construction and permitting.”
