Cascade Brewing has announced a new beer dedicated to the “the rain-soaked hordes of brunch-goers who patiently stand in line for their weekend fare.”

Brunch Line is a 9.5 percent ABV blend of sour wheat and blonde ales that have been aged in white wine barrels for up to two years with Willamette Valley-grown Chardonnay grapes before being infused with fresh orange zest. The new creation was inspired by the flavors in a mimosa cocktail.

According to a press release from the Portland-based brewery, Brunch Line is packaged in 500ml bottles that will be released at both of its locations today. Bottles will also be sent to retailers throughout Cascade’s distribution network.
