One of Oregon’s pioneers in brewing wild ales is set to release a new beer according to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
Portland-based Cascade Brewing is working on releasing Cocoa Cardamom, a brand new, barrel-aged sour blonde ale that’s been aged with cocoa, cardamom, and orange zest. Clocking in at 9.8% percent, the beer is set to be packaged and sold in 250ml bottles.
This is not the only time the brewery’s released Cocoa-inspired beers and Cocoa Cardamom will join the ranks of Cocoa Gingersnap and Cocoa Rojo, amongst others.
An email sent to the brewery seeking additional information was not immediately returned.
