Details have emerged about the 2015 release of one of the most coveted beers from Brasserie Cantillon Brouwerij.
According to a post on Ølbutikken’s Facebook page, this year’s incarnation of the Cantillon’s Blåbær Lambik (5 percent ABV) will be released at a party on July 18 at Ølbutikken, a retailer in Copehagen, Denmark.
Originally released in 2005, Blåbær is a lambic brewed with European bilberries, a fruit similar to American blueberries. The beer has been released every year since other than 2006 and 2008.
According to the post, only “almost” 200 375ml bottles ($22.41) and “around” 90 750ml bottles ($44.82) will be available, with a strict one bottle per person limit and no pre-orders taken. In addition, 100 bottles will be set aside for in-store consumption.
