Later this week, Bullfrog Brewery will be releasing three variants of its Le Roar Grrrz American wild ale.

Le Roar Grrrz, a wild ale aged in oak barrels, was originally released in 2013 and new variations are a yearly staple for the Williamsport, Pa.-based brewery.

This year’s event includes three different variants:

  • Le Roar Grrrz Black Raspberry — Gueuze-style beer blended from ale aged in oak barrels between one and four years, then conditioned on black raspberries and bottle-conditioned with Belgian candi sugar.
  • Le Roar Grrrz Kriek — Gueuze-style beer blended from ale aged in oak barrels between one and four years, then conditioned on cherries and bottle-conditioned with Belgian candi sugar.
  • Le Roar Grrrz Cocoa Framboise — Gueuze-style beer blended from ale aged in oak barrels between one and four years, then conditioned on fruit and bottle-conditioned with Belgian candi sugar.

According to a post on the Bulldog Brewery’s Facebook page, all three variants will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($25) that are scheduled to be released at the brewery on Nov. 17 with no purchase limits.

A message sent to the brewery about bottle limits and distribution information was not returned.
