This summer, members of The Bruery’s membership programs who love coconuts in their beers will be very happy campers.

The Placentia, Calif.-based brewery will be releasing Mounds of Coconuts, a 14.5 percent ABV imperial stout conditioned on toasted coconut and aged in bourbon barrels for approximately one year. Coconut is a fruit that The Bruery has incorporated into a number of its creations in the past, including Mash & Coconut and Bruers’ Barrel-Aged Zesty Mounds.

In an email, Joel Kennedy, marketing manager at The Bruery, told Tenemu that Mounds of Coconuts will be an exclusive release packaged in 750ml bottles for its Hoarders Society and Reserve Society membership programs and is scheduled to be released in May.
