Fans of The Bruery’s Black Tuesday will be able to purchase it one week earlier than past releases.

Later this month, The Bruery will be releasing Black Tuesday 2017, a 19.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for over a year. There have been a number of variants of the imperial stout since it was first released in 2009, including including Grey Monday, Mocha Wednesday, Chocolate Rain and Rum Barrel Black Tuesday, which as the name implies, is aged in rum barrels instead of bourbon barrels.

Although Black Tuesday is normally available to members of the brewery’s various membership clubs, The Bruery also holds a lottery every year that anyone can enter to purchase a limited number of bottles of the stout.

According to a post on The Bruery’s website, Black Tuesday 2017 will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($29.99) and will be put up for sale at The Bruery’s webstore on Oct. 24, where there will be a six bottle per person purchase limit.

Purchases can pick up their bottles at the Fulfillment Center at The Bruery in Orange County or have them shipped to an address in California starting on Oct. 31. In addition, for the first time, purchases can choose to pick up their bottles at The Bruery’s new Store at Union Market in Washington, D.C. starting “on or around” Nov. 14.
