A new Black Tuesday variant is being released next month.
The Bruery will be releasing Red Wine Barrel Black Tuesday, an 18 percent ABV imperial stout aged in “the grand cry of California wine barrels” for approximately one year and packaged in 750ml bottles.
There have been a number of variants of the imperial stout since it was first released in 2009, including Grey Monday, Mocha Wednesday, Chocolate Rain and Rum Barrel Black Tuesday, which as the name implies, is aged in rum barrels instead of bourbon barrels.
In an email, Joel Kennedy, marketing manager at The Bruery, told Tenemu that Red Wine Barrel Black Tuesday is “likely coming out in April” and will be a Reserve Society and Hoarders Society member exclusive when it is released.
