A more intense porter is coming from Brooklyn Brewery.
The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based brewery’s Intensified Coffee Porter is a 9.5 percent porter that has been aged for “months” in bourbon barrels from Kentucky. The new beer incorporates Single Origin coffee from Finca El Manzano in El Salvador that is roasted by Oakland, Calif.-based Blue Bottle Coffee Roasters.
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new release will be packaged in 750ml bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
