This spring, Boulevard Brewing Co. has a prize for its fans.
The new beer is named Noble Prize, a 7.7 percent ABV imperial pilsner. This is not the first pilsner sold by the Kansas City, Mo.-based brewery, as past releases in the same style have included KC Pils (4.8 percent ABV) and Reverb Imperial Pilsner (7.7 percent ABV), among others.
According to a post on Boulevard’s Twitter page, Noble Prize will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to be shipped to retailers in March 2017.
Pilsner malt for a batch of Noble Prize Imperial Pilsner (scheduled for a March debut) passes through the wet mill en route to the mash tun.
