Later this month, Boulevard Brewing Co.’s seasonal interpretation of a wee heavy ale is returning for the forth time.

Snow & Tell 2018 is a 6.3 percent ABV Scotch ale brewed with five malts as well as Chinook, magnum and saphir hops before undergoing “brief aging” on medium toasted virgin oak chips at the end of the fermentation process. The ale debuted in 2015 and is a seasonal release for the Kansas City, Mo.-based brewery, joining beers like Nut Cracker Ale, Tough Kitty Milk Stout and Bob’s ’47 Oktoberfest ale.

According to a post on Boulevard’s website, Snow & Tell 2018 is packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles that will be available at retailers in the greater Kansas City area on Oct. 29, while stores across the breweries’ distribution network that normally receive Boulevard’s seasonal releases will be receiving bottles of the seasonal beer in the “coming weeks.”
