A new year-round release from Boulevard Brewing Co. features not one, not two, but three different fruits.

Jam Band is a 5.9 percent ABV sour ale brewed with two-row malted barley and topaz hops before blueberry, red raspberry and tart cherry juices are blended into the beer at the end of fermentation. The ale debuted last year as a draft-only release in the Kansas City, Mo.-based brewery’s Smokestack Series.

According to a post on Boulevard’s website, Jam Band will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans that are scheduled to be released in the greater Kansas City area on Feb. 5, while retailers throughout the rest of the brewery’s distribution network will be receiving it “soon after.”
