A new release in Boulevard Brewing Co.’s Brewhouse One Series uses the same base beer as the one incorporated into the brewery’s popular Love Child creations.

Allegro Non Troppo is an 11 percent ABV Belgian-style golden sour ale aged in neutral wine barrels for an average length of 18 months before being moved to stainless steel tanks where it was conditioned on 2,000 pounds of crushed Tempranillo grapes for five months.

The new ale is the second release this year in Boulevard’s Brewhouse One Series, which is made up of beers released exclusively at the brewery. The first beer in the series this year was Rye on Rye on Rye on Rye, which was released on March 11.

According to a post on Boulevard’s website, Allegro Non Troppo will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($25) and will have a purchase limit of two bottles per person when it is released at the Boulevard Tours & Rec Center on April 22.
