This fall, Boulevard Brewing Co. will be releasing Milk Stout, a 5.5 percent ABV milk stout brewed with rolled oats, lactose and Bravo and Cascade hops. The beer is part of the Kansas City, Mo.-based brewery’s Tasting Room Series, which allows people to vote on their favorite releases to end up in regular rotation and was released on-draft for the first time in 2011.
According to a post on Boulevard’s website, Milk Stout will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and will be sold exclusively in the brewery’s Sample Twelve Pack, which features two year-round beers and two brand new beers from the Tasting Room series. This year’s pack will include Milk Stout, Rosemary IPA (6 percent ABV), 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer (5.5 percent ABV) and Pale Ale (5.4 percent ABV) and is scheduled to ship to retailers “later this month.”
