Boulevard Brewing Co. has released a brand new joint effort with Prairie Artisan Ales just in time for Thanksgiving.

That beer is Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Vanilla & Coffee, a 15 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels that previously held Buffalo Trace bourbon for 12 months before being aged an additional three months in barrels that previously held Heaven Hill bourbon.

The stout was also conditioned on lactose, dark sugar, Ghanaian cocoa nibs, Guatemalan coffee sourced from Messenger Coffee Co. and Madagascar vanilla beans before being bottled.

According to a post on Boulevard’s website, Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Vanilla & Coffee is now being sold exclusively in the Boulevard Tours & Rec Center Gift Shop packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
