The next release in Boulevard Brewing Co. newest series of beers was inspired by Vietnamese iced coffee, but also includes a “uniquely Boulevardian twist.”
Vietnamese Coffee Inspired Imperial Porter is a 13.6 percent ABV brandy barrel-aged imperial porter brewed with chicory, lactose, Colombian coffee sourced from Messenger Coffee and Saigon cinnamon. The new release will be the newest member of the brewery-exclusive releases in Boulevard’s Brewhouse One Series, which also includes Good L’Oven, Messenger in a Bottle and Allegro Non Troppo.
According to a post on Boulevard’s website, Vietnamese Coffee Inspired Imperial Porter will be available exclusively in the Boulevard Tours & Rec Center Gift Shop packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans ($32) as well as 12-ounce bottles ($9) on Nov. 27.
In addition, $1 from each bottle and full draft pour sold on Nov. 27 will be donated to the Veterans Community Project, which “provides critical support services, through the Veteran Outreach Center and VCP Village, and work toward a long-term goal of eliminating Veteran homelessness nationwide.”
