Boulevard Brewing Co. is planning on putting a new spin on its popular Unfiltered Wheat Ale.
The famous brewery out of Kansas City, Mo. has filed a label with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for a new Unfiltered Dry Hopped Wheat ale.
This release from Boulevard would be a new version of its previously released Unfiltered Wheat, which is an American-style wheat ale that is both “light” and “hazy” according to Boulevard’s website.
The new version incorporates the same base beer, but before canning it is dry-hopped with Amarillo hops. It finishes at 4.4 percent ABV.
An email sent to the brewery for information about the timing of this release as well as packaging details was not returned.
