Boulder Beer Co. is adding a new beer to its seasonal offerings that will be available from May-September.

The new beer is Pulp Fusion Blood Orange IPA, a 6.5 percent ABV IPA brewed with blood orange juice. The IPA is the third release in the Boulder, Colo.-based brewery’s Seasonal IPA series, joining Emergent White IPA (6.1 percent ABV) and Slope Style Winter IPA (6.4 percent ABV.)

“With IPAs and Seasonals as the #1 and #2 styles in craft beer, respectively, we believe a seasonal IPA release for every season hits a sweet spot in what beer lovers are looking for on the shelves and on tap right now,” said Judd Belstock, national sales director at Boulder Beer Co., in a press release. “And it pairs well with a Royale with Cheese.”

According to a press release, Pulp Fusion Blood Orange IPA will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and will be sent to the brewery’s entire 34 state distribution footprint starting on May 2.
