Next Sunday, Bottle Logic Brewing will be selling a brand new addition to its most popular series online.

Backwards Compatibility 2017 is an 11.8 percent ABV imperial stout conditioned on cacao nibs as well as both sweet and tart cherries and aged in ruby port barrels. The new stout is part of the Anaheim-based brewery’s Stasis Project Series, which “celebrates the barrel as a fifth ingredient” and includes other notables such as Fundamental Observation (13.7 percent ABV), Leche Borracho (11 percent ABV) and Ground State (12.5 percent ABV.)

According to Bottle Logic, Backwards Compatibility 2017 ($23.95) will be packaged in 500ml bottles that will go on sale via Eventbrite on Dec. 17, with a two bottle per person purchase limit. Purchasers can pick up their bottles starting on Dec. 23 and no proxies will be allowed.
