Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and this weekend fans of Bottle Logic Brewing will have the opportunity to purchase the perfect beer to celebrate the occasion.
The Anaheim-based brewery will be releasing Jam The Radar 2018, a 13.7 percent ABV Russian imperial stout conditioned on cacao nibs as well as black and red raspberries and aged in bourbon barrels. The stout debuted last year and uses the brewery’s Darkstar November (13.8 percent ABV) as its base.
As with the first incarnation, Jam The Radar 2018 is part of Bottle Logic’s Stasis Project Series, which “celebrates the barrel as a fifth ingredient” and includes other notables such as Fundamental Observation (13.7 percent ABV), Leche Borracho (11 percent ABV) and Ground State (12.5 percent ABV).
According to Bottle Logic, Jam The Radar 2018 will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($22.95) that will go on sale via Eventbrite on Feb. 4, with a three bottle per person purchase limit. Purchasers can pick up their bottles starting on Feb.10 and no proxies will be allowed.
