It turns out Bottle Logic Brewing will be releasing another popular imperial stout this weekend.
The Anaheim-based brewery will be selling RedEye November 2018, a 14 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with molasses and rye before being aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on “an exclusive blend” of Brazilian Oberon and Sumatran beans sourced from Mostra Coffee in San Diego. The imperial stout is being sold on the same day as Bottle Logic’s Darkstar November 2018, a 14 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with molasses and rye before being aged in bourbon barrels that was announced at the beginning of the month.
Like Darkstar November 2018, RedEye November 2018 is part of Bottle Logic’s Stasis Project Series, which “celebrates the barrel as a fifth ingredient” and includes other notables such as Resplendent Angel 2018 (13.75 percent ABV), Paisley Cave Complex 2018 (13 percent ABV) and The Lost Colony 2018 (12.5 percent ABV.)
According to Bottle Logic, RedEye November 2018 and Darkstar November 2018 will both be packaged in 500ml bottles priced at $23.95 and $22.95 each respectively that will go on sale via Eventbrite on Nov. 18. Purchasers can pick up their bottles starting on Nov. 20 and no proxies will be allowed.
