If you act fast, you won’t have to fight anyone to get ahold of some of Bootlegger’s most anticipated seasonal release.
The Fullerton-Calif.-based brewery has announced that their most popular beer, the Knuckle Sandwich double IPA, is returning to shelves this week. Originally brewed in 2010, Knuckle Sandwich is the brewery’s rendition of a west coast-style double IPA, and comes in at a whopping 10 percent ABV. The beer is brewed with Nugget, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus/Tomahawk/Zeus (CTZ) hops, as well as five different types of malt and house yeast.
Knuckle Sandwich will be sold in 22-ounce bottles and on draft in retail establishments across the state of California as well as at the brewery’s tasting room in Fullerton.
Bootlegger’s Brewery was established in 2008 by husband and wife team Patricia and Aaron Barkenhagen.
