Next year, fans of Bell’s Brewery, Inc.’s most popular IPAs will have a lower calorie version to enjoy in at least a couple of different packages.

That is because the Comstock, Mich.-based brewery has announced it will be releasing Light Two Hearted, a 3.7 percent ABV IPA that is “a lo-cal IPA with many of the characteristics of its namesake, but without all the calories.” As the name suggests, the new beer is based on Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, a 7 percent ABV IPA brewed exclusively with Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Light Hearted Ale will be packaged in both 12- and 19.2-ounce cans and will have 110 calories and 8.7 carbs compared to Two Hearted Ale’s 212 calories and 17 carbs.

On a Facebook page post, Bell’s confirmed that Light Hearted Ale is scheduled to be released in “early 2020.”
