A new release from Bell’s Brewery in 2018 will commemorate the debut of one of the brewery’s oldest stouts.

The Comstock, Mich.-based brewery will be releasing 30th Anniversary Cherry Stout Reserve, a 9 percent ABV stout brewed with Montmorency cherry juice sourced from Michigan’s Traverse City region. As the name indicates, the new beer is based on Bell’s Cherry Stout (7 percent ABV), which was first sold in 1988 and is a seasonal release available from October-November.

According to Bell’s 2018 release calendar, 30th Anniversary Cherry Stout Reserve will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be released in May 2018.
