The newest incarnation of one of Bell’s Brewery, Inc.’s most popular seasonal release will start shipping to retailers next week.

Oberon Ale 2021 is a 5.8 percent ABV American wheat ale that was named after a character in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The Kalamazoo, Mich.-based brewery debuted the ale in 2002 and it has inspired a number of variants since then, including Raspberry Oberon, Mango Oberon and Cherry Oberon.

According to Bell’s press release, Oberon Ale 2021 will be packaged in six- and 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles as well as 12- and 16-ounce cans and will begin shipping to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network on March 18.

In addition, the ale will be available in 5-liter Mini Kegs this year, which are scheduled to ship to stores in “early May.”
