Details on a brand new variant of one of Bell’s Brewery, Inc.’s most famous creations have just come to light.

According to a label filed with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), that beer is Vanilla Black Note Stout 2019, an 11.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels with Madagascar vanilla beans before being packaged in 12-ounce bottles.

As the name indicates, the base beer is the Comstock, Mich.-based brewery’s Black Note Stout, an imperial stout that debuted in 2007 that is actually a blend of two of Bell’s other beers: Expedition Stout (10.5 percent ABV) and Double Cream Stout (6.1 percent ABV.)

An email sent to the brewery requesting additional information was not returned.
