According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Bell’s Brewery, Inc. will be bottling Bourbon Barrel Aged Hell Hath No Fury … Ale, a “Belgian inspired dark ale” brewed with Belgian abbey-style yeast before being aged in bourbon barrels. The barrel-aged incarnation debuted as a draft-only option in 2011, and this is the first time it has been packaged.

The base beer is the Comstock, Mich.-based brewery’s Hell Hath No Fury … Ale (7.7 percent ABV) which was first released in 2004 and is currently packaged in 12-ounce bottles.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Hell Hath No Fury … Ale will be packaged in 750ml bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
