The new year will start with with a brand new beer from Bell’s Brewery, Inc.

Larry’s Latest Flamingo Fruit Fight is a 5 percent ABV “tart fruit ale” bread with lime zest, passionfruit and wheat malt. As the name suggests, the ale will be the next addition to Bell’s Larry’s Latest Series, which “is a nod to the spirit of innovation and experimentation that Larry started in 1985 and continues within the brewery to this day,” according to the brewery.

“This is a fun beer with a fun name,” said Larry Bell, president and founder of Bell’s, in a post on the brewery’s website. “When it’s released, it’ll be nice little staycation of sorts, a break from the wintery blues January can bring.”

The Larry’s Latest Series debuted this year with the release of Larry’s Latest Sour Ale, a dry-hopped kettle sour ale.

According to Bell’s, Larry’s Latest Flamingo Fruit Fight will be packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans as well as 6- and 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles that will be shipped in limited amounts across the brewery’s entire distribution network in January 2019.
