Bell’s Brewery, Inc. will be celebrating its 35th anniversary by releasing a special variant of the longest brewed imperial stout in the United States.
That beer is 35th Anniversary Expedition Stout Reserve, a 11.5 percent ABV “Extra Special Russian Imperial Stout” that will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), new release is “a stronger version” of the Comstock, Mich.-based brewery’s Expedition Stout that debuted in 1989.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
