Bell’s Brewery, Inc.’s may be adding another packaging option for one of its most popular releases so far this year.
According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Light Hearted Ale will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles that will be sold in conjunction with the already existing 12-ounce cans that were released earlier this year.
The 3.7 percent ABV IPA is “a lo-cal IPA with many of the characteristics of its namesake, but without all the calories” that is based on Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, a 7 percent ABV IPA brewed with Centennial and Galaxy hops from the Pacific Northwest.
The Comstock, Mich.-based brewery’s Light Hearted Ale has 110 calories and 8.7 carbs compared to its Two Hearted Ale’s 212 calories and 17 carbs.
An email sent to the brewery for release and distribution information was not immediately returned.
