Ballast Point Brewing Co.’s Trade St. Collection—its barrel-aged beer program—has a new release under its belt.

This past Sunday, Aug. 12, Ballast Point hosted its second annual Sours of the Wench Day, an event at all Ballast Point locations. The event highlights White Wine Barrel Aged Sour Witch, its newest release in the Trade St. Collection.

White Wine Barrel Aged Sour Witch uses Sour Wench, Ballast Point’s blackberry Berliner Weisse-style beer as its base. It then rests in both chardonnay and sauvignon blanc barrel for more than six months.

According to a social media post, White Wine Barrel Aged Sour Wench will also be available nationwide.
