Founders Brewing Co. has not had a beer contract brewed since the brewery’s first batch in 1997, but that will change next year.

Next month, Avery Brewing Co. in Boulder, Colo. will be contract brewing Founders’ All Day IPA, a 4.7 percent ABV year-round session IPA. According to Founders, the move is being made to supply fans of the IPA on the west coast with the freshest product possible.

“Rest assured, anything created with the Founders name on it will be just as delicious and consistent with product coming out of Grand Rapids,” reads a post on Founders’ website. “Our production team has completed a number of quality checks at the Avery facility. We’re confident in their system’s ability to replicate All Day IPA.”

This past weekend, the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based brewery announced that it was adding a 12-packs of 12-ounce bottle option for the IPA that will join the already existing six-packs of 12-ounce cans, 19.2-ounce cans, 15-pack of 12-ounce cans and six-pack of 12-ounce bottles.

According to Founders’ website, the All Day IPA being brewed at Avery will begin shipping to retailers on the west coast in “early 2019.”
