One of Avery Brewing Co. most anticipated annual creations is returning this summer.

Rumpkin is a 16.9 percent ABV ale brewed with allspice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and pumpkin puree before being aged in rum barrels. The ale debuted in 2011 and is part of Avery’s Annual Barrel-Aged Series, which is made up of beers aged in various types of barrels.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and Avery’s 2018 release calendar, Rumpkin 2018 will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to be released at retailers nationwide in August.
