The newest release in Avery Brewing Co.’s most popular series is named in honor of one of its brewers.
The 39th release in the Avery Barrel-Aged Series will be L’Eighyore, a 9.9 percent ABV ale aged in rum barrels for over seven months before being dry-hopped with Galaxy, huell melon and Simcoe hops. The new beer is named after one of the Boulder, Colo.-based brewery’s Special Projects Brewer, Leigh Audin, with only 246 cases produced.
According to a post on Avery’s website, L’Eighyore will be released on Sept. 11 exclusively at the brewery. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
