The state of Louisiana is getting an exclusive from Abita Brewing Co.

The beer is The Boot, a 4.8 percent ABV ale brewed with barley, German kölsch yeast, oats and white wheat as well as hallertau blanc hops. According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new ale is being brewed and released exclusively in Abita’s home state of Louisiana.

This is the second time that Abita has used a beer with the Boot moniker, after the brewery collaborated with Parma, Italy-based Birrificio del Ducato on Two Boots saison (6.2 percent ABV) in 2014.

The Boot will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
