This weekend, Angry Chair Brewing will be releasing a brand new variant of one of its most popular dessert stouts.

Maple Walnut Popinski is a Russian imperial stout brewed with “loads” of walnuts and “a touch” of maple syrup. As the name suggests, the new beer uses the Tampa-based brewery’s Popinski Russian imperial stout that debuted in 2016 as its base.

The stout will join a number of different Popinski variants that have been released in the past three years, including Double Barrel Popinski, Rye Barrel Aged Popinski with Vanilla Beans and Coconut Coffee Popinski.

According to a post on Angry Chair’s Facebook page, Maple Walnut Popinski is packaged in 750ml bottles ($25) and will have a purchase limit that will be determined based on turn out when it is released at the brewery on May 25.
