Anchor Brewing Co., based in Mariposa, Calif., has recently filed a label for a new IPA with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).

This beer comes in at a category-busting 8.2 percent ABV, and is named for Anchor Brewing’s “Tech Inspired Dry-Hopper,” the Odeprot.

Anchor Brewing designed the Odeprot as a way to continually dry hop its beer by allowing beer to continuously flow through hops secured in the Odeprot tank. The Odeprot IPA dry hops with hundreds of pounds of hops that is described as giving the beer an aroma and flavor reminiscent of “tropical, pine forest, and citrus zest.”

An email to the brewery regarding the exact release date was not immediately returned.
