The first release for American Solera’s Society members is a style of beer that the brewery has never packaged before.

Year 4 Kriek is a 6 percent ABV spontaneous ale aged in oak barrels and conditioned on both Montmorency and Balaton cherries. While the Tulsa, Okla.-based brewery has previously released both spontaneous ales and barrel-aged ales conditioned on cherries before, this is the first time that these specific two types of cherries have been incorporated into one of American Solera’s spontaneous ales and packaged.

According to the brewery, Year 4 Kriek is packaged in 750ml bottles with only 1,600 bottles filled. Members of American Solera’s Society will each receive two bottles as part of their membership and can pick up the beer at the brewery between Aug. 22 and Sept. 5.
