American Solera and Roosevelt’s Gastropub have joined forces for a brand new beer that is being released tomorrow.

That creation is Roosevelt’s Distraction, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout that has been aged for one year in barrels that previously held Buffalo Trace bourbon. As the name indicates, the base beer is American Solera’s Life’s Distraction, an 18 percent ABV barrel-aged imperial stout that was sold as a member exclusive in July 2018.

This will be the second collaboration between American Solera and a retailer to be released in a week, after KDS, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout aged in a single bourbon barrel that previously held Knob Creek bourbon for 12 months was sold on Jan. 15.

According to American Solera, Roosevelt’s Distraction will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($40) with a one bottle per person purchase limit and is scheduled to be released at the brewery and Roosevelt’s Gastropub on Jan. 21.
