I’m out in Tulsa, Oklahoma brewing a huge Imperial Stout with @americansolera today! “Distraction’s Grasp” will feature Geisha coffee, coconut, hazelnuts, and vanilla bean…the other half of this batch will go to rest in @balconesdistilling and @willettdistillery Bourbon barrels!!Huge thank you to Chase and @sam.b0ne for the southern hospitality today!!!
However, those 1,300 bottles only account for about half of the total amount of the beer that was brewed, as a post on Horus’ Instagram page indicates that the other half of the batch will be aged in bourbon barrels that previously held Balcones and Willett bourbon.
According to American Solera, will be is packaged in 500ml bottles ($25) and are scheduled to be released on June 1 at the brewery. In addition, members of American Solera’s membership club will able to purchase up to three bottles each starting on May 20, with pickups starting on May 22.
