According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Almanac Beer Co. is working on Barrel-Aged Raspberry Sournova, a 5.3 percent ABV sour ale aged in oak barrels and conditioned on real raspberries before being packaged in 16-ounce cans.

The San Francisco, Calif.-based brewery has released a nova-themed beer before, namely Cherry Supernova, a sour ale conditioned on cherries that was sold as a draft-only option in July.

An email sent to the brewery for more information was not immediately returned.
