According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), California’s own Almanac Beer Co. has filed labels for a new vintage of its Bourbon Barrel Pêche.
This sour farmhouse ale which first appeared in 2017 is bourbon-barrel aged with peaches, nectarines, apricots and vanilla beans. The barrels originated from St. George Spirits, which happens to be neighbors of the brewery out in Alameda. Clocking in at 7.3 percent ABV this beer is set to be bottled in 375mL bottles.
While there’s been no established release date the brewery did mention that it should be available in early 2020 per an email exchange.
