Almanac Beer Co. is adding another sour to its popular Farm To Barrel series.

The new beer is Wakatu Sour, a 7 percent ABV “sour blonde ale” that has been aged in wine barrels and dry hopped exclusively with wakatu hops. The San Jose, Calif.-based brewery’s popular Farm to Barrel series began in 2013 with Barrel Noir imperial stout (10 percent ABV) and now encompasses more than 20 different releases.

According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB,) Wakatu Sour has a bottling date of September and will be packaged in 375ml bottles.  An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
