For the first time in five years, Allagash Brewing Co. will be releasing not one, but two new coolship beers.
The first of two new additions to the of Portland, Maine-based brewry’s Coolship Series is Coolship La Mûre, a 7.7 percent ABV spontaneously fermented ale aged in oak barrels with blackberries while the second is Coolship Clermont, a 6.6 percent ABV spontaneously fermented ale aged in bourbon barrels.
Cheers to blackberries and bourbon. On Saturday, March 18th, we’re releasing two very special Coolship beers for the first time. One is Coolship la Mûre: our Coolship beer aged on blackberries. The other is Coolship Clermont: our Coolship beer aged in bourbon barrels. At the brewery-only release, we’ll have a limit of 1 bottle of each per person. Doors will open at 10:00 AM for beer, treats, and coffee.
