For the first time in two years, Allagash Brewing Co. is releasing Farm to Face, a sour ale conditioned on peaches.

Farm To Face is a 6.1 percent ABV sour ale brewed with pediococcus and lactobacillus before being conditioned for 10 months on approximately three pounds of hand-pitted peaches per gallon from Applecrest Farm Orchards in New Hampshire. The sour ale debuted in November 2014 and was last released in 2016.

According to a post on Allagash’s Instagram page, Farm to Face 2018 will be packaged in 375ml bottles ($16) and will not have a purchase limit when it is released at the brewery on Aug. 4. In addition, bottles will be sent to retailers across Allagash’s full distribution network following the brewery release.
